I have never once in my life gotten up to find a real bookmark. So unless one happens to be in arms reach, I'll use whatever is thin enough and near me.

If I were reading right now: tissue, napkin, charging cord, temporary tattoo of a puffer fish, and estrogen gel packet.

I have to eat a lot of peas to be satisfied, but I'd wager your malabsorption and damaged gut are the biggest culprit. I've read that it can take upwards of 6 months to heal the damage once you start a gf diet (if that's the only culprit) before you see absorption improve.

Yeah, Kristin aren't you just gluten sensitive tho? Or are you celiac?

And this is just a list for general purposes of gf sources of fiber and protein.

The sun needs to be there in ways that align with my schedule for me to experience it. My body is happier when I get the sun later in the afternoon/evening. My SAD is better. I need the lie. My kid is fine.

Naturally GF foods with fiber and protein

...of your required minerals and vitamins as well as plant-based fibers will help. You can't avoid all sensitivities to heal the gut properly so you can't really improve the malabsorption issue except flooding your body with iron, calcium, b vits. From natural sources when possible. Same w/ fiber.

Many GF products are not enriched in the same way as grained products and malabsorption of those with gluten (& other) sensitivities plays a role as well. Iron is a big one for instance. Fiber is a filler and without the natural grain you get less than what you need. Finding mcas safe sources...

Two answers, important mineral and vitamin deficiencies and need for more non-grain fiber.

Unpopular opinion, I like daylight savings. I live in Buffalo NY and every part of my mental well-being for 5-6 months is dependent on the sun's existence aligning with my body's need to see it.
