He's too into Pokopia.
Insanely basic post but you unfortunately can't expect me take anything seriously these days when every morning is like this.
The biggest compliment I can give PokΓ©mon Pokopia is that it's the first game in ages that I've been looking forward to playing, when I'm not playing it.
You know I've tried (and failed miserably) not to engage in anything political on Bluesky, but things like this just show you cannot discuss things of this seriousness online anymore. I know that's such an obvious take, but it's just true.
I love this for you.
Moonbuilding Weekly Issue 98b is out right now!

Big fan of the Adventure Time vibe this game has.
A lift back to Ingleton from Norwich... I'm sure I could sort it!
My home from home! Go and see these boys if you're about in Norwich - great show, great lads, great tunes!

Going to start watching A Knight Of The Seven Kingdoms based on the videos I keep seeing of the two leads mucking around BTS, but having a moment learning that Dexter Ansell (who plays Egg) is the son of Jonathan Ansell, he of G4, the band that came second in the first series of X Factor.
For the first time since I started Moonbuilding Weekly two years ago, we have no adverts this week. We are supported by 54 of our 1,800+ readers who have a paid subscription. If the labels/artists we write about don't think we're worth supporting, I think we might have run our course.
'Dubai based maga dog walking influencer' i mutter as I douse myself in petrol in the Claire's accessories hair clip section 'DUBAI BASED MAGA DOG WALKING INFLUENCER'
ICYMI: New Happening Again out now, as always chock-full of bangers.
My pleasure! π«Ά
I just sent out the newest Happening Again a week early, because I'm nice like that (and I was late with the last issue). Featuring the likes of @fire-toolz.bsky.social (again!), username and Marsh Crane, and of course @carpenterbrut.com.
Too many politicians (and to be honest, people of a certain age) still think and act like it's the late 90s/early 00s. It is insane to me. And that's not just regarding politics.
A copy of the book Perfect Organism: The Assembly Cut by Andy Kelly. The illustration on the cover shows a blood trail in a dark sci-fi ventilation system. A device with a glowing green screen lies on the ground.
Three tiny figures spacewalking outside a space station with a gas giant looming in the distance.
Blood splatters on the floor and an ominous shadow.
Someone watches through a vent as a figure brutally smashes the head of another figure into a wall.
Perfect Organism: The Assembly Cut
- The story of Alien: Isolation's creation
- Deep dives into design, art, AI, and more
- Huge level-by-level analysis of the entire game
- Cut content and behind-the-scenes secrets
- New chapters, insights, and illustrations

Yeah, it doesn't necessarily mean I'm depressed again, but it normally means... something.
Last night's Drag Race reminded me that not only did people used to pay for ringtones, they paid for Crazy Frog specifically.
This is a great record with some really interesting concepts around sound design and production. It's always great to listen to the stuff @fire-toolz.bsky.social conjures up.
lol I know we're united in that so I won't bother preaching to the choir but it's ***so annoying*** - and I do feel like for some reason people especially like doing it with video games! it's just not that interesting to not like gaming, I'm sorry!
It is both teeth-grindingly annoying and genuinely interesting that some people have really convinced themselves that *not* knowing something is a sign of wisdom and sophistication.
Honestly this, and whatever discussion about class that was going on, wants me to remove myself from the internet entirely. I resent that I need to keep some form of it for work. It's all become so bad faith and tiresome. And somehow keeps getting worse!
ICYMI!
New Happening Again out now, featuring experimentalism on @bluetapes.bsky.social, Japanese city pop, and ambient techno. And some more bits and bobs from around the 'net.
