Great news for decarbonizing public transport! The U.S. Dept of Energy reports that in 2020, 56% of all U.S. transit buses ran on alternative drivetrain technology or alternative fuels. These emissions accounted for 25% of transportation emissions, the second-largest source in the sector (CBO 2019).
Great work by USPS to roll out 66,000 new delivery EVs, taking a great step in decarbonizing on-road vehicle transportation, which makes up two of the three vehicle categories in U.S. transportation.

Exciting news for our transportation sector! The US Energy Information Administration, predicts that EVs will account for up to 54% of global new vehicle sales by 2050, and up to 50% of new vehicles sales (NYT) in the US by 2030. This provides valuable insights to #decarbonize transportation.
