I love this illustration style! I’m trying so hard to break the shackles of realism, but it’s such a safety blanket - does the drawing look like the reference or not? Post realism asks if the drawing looks like the IDEA and that is So Much Scarier. Your picture looks like running through the snow ❤️

Open source art software, hands down. The fact that Blender is free blows my mind. Krita, Inkscape, Darktable - I’ve been able to learn so many skills I’d never have learned if I’d had to scale the paywall up front.

Just found an “open-box” Wacom Pro medium for HALF the price of brand new! Absurdly excited!
