17K steps around Dartmoor today taking in the beautiful views. Highlights were crossbills and a cute flock of bullfinches. Also saw this Goosander on the drive home past the Plym, so stopped for a quick snap. #ukbirding
I’m thinking of selling my HIKMICRO Habrok Pro HQ50L Multi-Spectrum Thermal Binocular - 640px 50mm with 4K Optical Camera LRF and Harness × 1. They are a brilliant piece of kit and have helped us find lots of birds! They have been looked after, practically as new. I bought them less than a year ago.

🇪🇸 DAY 6. Lovely walk around Parque del Príncipe in Cáceres. Highlights were LSW, Black Redstart, Spanish Sparrow and one of my favourite birds in Spain, the beautiful Iberian Magpie. Ended the day at Arrocampo watching the sunset and starling murmuration alongside a hunting black-winged kite #birds

🇪🇸 DAY 5 in Spain. One new lifer (rock sparrow) on a lovely walk. Rain stopped the birding early but happy to finally get a shot of a Sardinian Warbler, plus a (semi) out of season Hoopoe. #birds
🇪🇸 DAY 4! What a day to remember. Lovely hike up to Castillo de la Culebra seeing Blue Rock Thrush, Black Wheatear, Alpine Swift, Crag Martin, Cranes, Thekla’s Lark, Sardinian Warbler, Serin and Rock Bunting. Also on the reservoir we saw Black-Winged Stilt and Kentish Plover 🥺. 5 more lifers! #birds
🇪🇸 DAY 3 in Spain. More lifers!! Great and LITTLE Bustard! Can’t believe our luck. We also had Spanish Sparrow, Pin-Tailed Sandgrouse and Calandra Lark. An afternoon never to forget watching the Griffon and Black Vultures close up at Monfragüe. #birds @seobirdlife.bsky.social
