It's definitely due for a tune up.
hah good point. It's probably not really that loud, we just live in an old house with weird sound transfer.
How early is too early to start using my old noisy serger? Asking for my downstairs neighbour, who i actually like. #Sewing
Black and white film photo looking up at tall apartment buildings with bare tree branches reaching across the sky. The image has light leaks and a soft, vintage feel.
The #BlueSkyArtShow #Vertical is giving me a reason to share a random Holga picture I took while walking around town last year. It was an experiment to see what kind of depth of field I could achieve with my camera. #Holga #IlfordHP5 #FilmPhotography #BlackAndWhiteFilm #AnalogPhotography

Have a fantastic trip!
Pencil sketch in progress of a vintage Brownie Hawkeye camera with flash, on paper taped to a wooden surface. Light shading and grid lines are visible.
It's not all doodles for me. I love pencil drawings, but they take me longer, and I like to switch it up. I also love old cameras. #drawing #wip #Brownie #Camera
Close up of an small open sketchbook. There are three loosely sketch/drawn pumpkins. A pilot g-tec pen is on the table next to the sketchbook
New doodle sketch. Taking time out to doodle makes me happy.
I'm working on getting my shop back up and running.
One blooming sunflower with a fence and tree lined street behind.
The soil in our front yard needs enriching after all the work done on and around our house. But one hardy sunflower managed to bloom. π»
Close up of a book held up in one hand. The cover image is an old sepia photograph of a group of people. The title of the book is 'Photographs of the past. Process and Preservation ' Bertrand LavΓ©drine.
Gotta love coming out of a used bookstore sale feeling like you found treasure.
Glass tabletop palette with oil paints laid out around the edges, each labeled with green tape. A color mixing chart with swatches is in the center, showing yellows, greens, blues, and earth tones.
My happy place! All with a system and in their place. Art chaos comes later; I like starting organized and I enjoy laying it all out. I didn't know I was autistic in school. Having a system like this to start from would have made my life much easier. Not too limited, but no option paralysis either.
Picture of a cyanotype image of a witch stone being held up between my fingers. the cyanotype is hanging off the back of one of my metal patio chairs. in the background another cyanotype is being exposed in a glass frame. behind that is a pot of potatoes that are due to be harvested.
I managed to get a few cyanotype prints done today before it clouded over. I made the negative from a picture I took of a Witch stone I found on a beach walk. (Yes it's time to harvest those potatoes)
A Cooper's hawk (i think) sitting on a mossy roof wings and tail spread slightly
A Cooper's hawk (i think) standing on a roof peak with small prey of some kind caught in it's talon.
This morning's view out the kitchen window.
Taken with my cell phone through mesh screen.
Open package that says thank you on the inside of the open flap. Inside is a Rosemary and Co catalogue, sticker, and a selection of 4 new paint brushes.
I decided to treat myself to new paint brushes! I ordered 4 new brushes from a few of their product lines. (I've never had a sable before!) and i'm excited to try them out. They got to Canada surprisingly fast too. #RosemaryBrushes
Sunny close up of two fresh strawberries still on the plant. Growing in a plant pot.
Signs of summer π
Fresh ripe strawberries.
Sandy pacific north west beach. Ocean and islands in the distance. Part of one bare foot close up. With a bit of a hole dug into the sand with my heel.
Short visit to my old stomping grounds. West Coast sandy toes.
Image of sheet of paper taped to drawing board using black and white striped washi tape. On the paper is a roughly 3" by 4" graphite sketch of a feline skull.
Progress on my cat skull drawing. I may call it done for now. The sketch is roughly 3" x 4". Not my usual size but it's been a good challenge and practice. Detail without too much detail. Graphite on paper.
Turns out i was right in the first place. I used up the last few frames this weekend. I'll have to develop the roll soon.
Close up image of a cluster of large muscles on West Coast beach of Vancouver Island. Blurry background of ocean and large rock.
I found some amazing #Texture for #BlueSkyArtShow while camping this weekend. Cell phone photo of muscles on the beach.

Graphite on paper sketch drawing of a small feline skull. The first lines of the drawing are for working out scale, placement and composition. (I donβt have a feline skull Iβm working from a 3d print)
Posting a little work in progress for #BlueSkyArtShow
The theme is #Lines
So here is the line work stage of a small drawing. Graphite on paper
The image is taken while standing at a friendβs cabin, looking down the overgrown path. Mossy trees are on either side of the path, with ferns and other bushes filling in the area. The grass has grown long and green. Closest to the viewer are tree stumps overgrown with moss and ferns. One stump has been used as a firewood chopping block; the axe is still in it.

HAH!
A close up of a small plant with 3 white flowers with yellow centres growing on a bare rock on a beach.
Todayβs #BlueSkyArtShow theme is #Earth
I love a tenacious flower. They give me hope for the earth.
Am I the only one that feels like I am writing a novel when filling in intake forms for a new medical office? specifically for Physio today "What brings you in?" Oh you are gonna need more paper (okay, little box on the digital form) for this....
I'm looking forward the dramatized updates. True crime not required please. I'll take the fictitious version :D
There is a line up out the door for advance polling
i am interested in the after sushi report.
