Overall Top 5
For the third week in a row the Top 5 looks like this:
Vaibhav Sooryavanshi 1302 ๐ฎ๐ณ
Quinton de Kock 1248 ๐ฟ๐ฆ
Aiden Markram 1239 ๐ฟ๐ฆ
Sam Curran 1156 ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ
Harry Brook 1011 ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ
All five players were inactive this week.
Our number one player this week has returned to domestic cricket after a disappointing World Cup and played a bit of a blinder. 2 games for Karachi Region Whites saw him score 86 and get 4 wkts. 246 points this week moves him into fifth - 36 points behind Harry Brook.
Mehidy Hasan Miraz has looked awful for large parts of this year but seems a changed man leading out the Tigers. A three-fer takes him to 110 points this week.
Travis Head started his return to Red Ball cricket looking as out of nick as he was in the World Cup but then came back with a decent half century in the second dig against New South Wales this week to see him finish with 103 points and move up 2 places overall to 12th.
We start with the player that played in the highest profile fixture but did the least well. Rachin Ravindra's tournament never really took off and he registered just 31 points in the final to be our lowest scoring player this week.
Only 4 active players this week so not a Top 5, but instead a Weekly Round-Up

1. Vaibhav Sooryavanshii - 1302 - Manages to survive another week in top spot thanks to the entire of the Top 5 scoring a mere 167 points in 8 games of T20 cricket this week. Could now keep hold of it for a few weeks longer.
2. Quinton De Kock - 1248 - Ended the tournament with a whiimperful score of 10 in the closing week. Lucky to have not been knocked off second place.
3. Aiden Markram - 546 - No player has even got close to the 546 points that Markram has scored in the World Cup - but ends it with just 32 and finishes the week 9 points off second.
4. Sam Curran - 1156 - Was the top boy for England in the first half of the tournament (308 in the opening two weeks) and then slumped away at the back end (99 in the last 2 weeks). Holds 4th.
5. Harry Brook - 1011 - Holds fifth place and has a decent cushion on Marco Jansen in 6th spot. Bit of a spell away from cricket now, however.
At the back end of the #T20WorldCup lets see how the Top 5 shakes up
1. Rachin Ravindra - 164 - Perhaps fitting that our last man standing in the #T20WC2026 finishes the last full week of the competition in top spot. By some distance impressing more with the ball than the bat put the points all count.
2. Marco Jansen - 105 - Has been doing the business with the ball during the T20 World Cup but sees himself in second place this week courtesy of a half century with the bat. Wasn't enough to see the Proteas into the final though.
3. Jos Buttler - 85 - Bronze place seems generous to a Jos Buttler who has spent this tournament looking like a shadow of a shadow of himself in this tournament.
4. Mehidy Hasan Miraz - 74 - Has had a torrid start to 2026. A victim of geopolitical tension and performing abysmally domestically. He seemed to remember how to play cricket this week though and got a couple of wckets at a decent economy.
5. Harry Brook - 64 - Very generous to get into the Top 5 with a smidge over 50 points but beat off his international compatriot Sam Curran into the fifth place berth.
The last full week of the #T20WorldCup saw far fewer points than we have seen thus far.....let's see who has performed the best.
