Technically Border Patrol didn't have jurisdiction and actually were the ones to finally go in *without* permission. I'm not defending their actions here, but they "resolved" Uvalde when the locals were cowering.

Frontier Scum only shares very basic mechanical philosophy with MB; it is not specifically the same. And the design aesthetic is basically 19th century newspaper. It's worth looking up just for inspiration even if you don't intend to play.
Frontier Scum is the extremely well-regarded Mörk Borg-adjacent RPG by Karl Druid. It's got hats, six-shooters, and horses, what else do you need?

This weekend my man in Copenhagen*, @philipjensen.bsky.social , did what I could not and finished mailing the international Wasteland Degenerates Jumper Cable Edition orders; I'm relieved that it is finally complete!

I went straight from Starfinder to MÖRK BORG to writing my own hack for CY_BORG, so I feel ya.

As an introvert, GMing is critical for me to engage in social behaviors in a structured format. It also helps with conversational adaptability and problem solving. Of course after a session I'm utterly drained, but it's worthwhile overall.

I recall the DNC being a bit flummoxed by Obama at first; but you do have a point. Bernie managed to move the needle left a bit because of the primaries. My point is that we didn't have primaries this time for anyone to even have a chance to workshop anything new.
