I think not. In the run up to the referendum from 2012 until 2014 BT were happy to promote the idea that oil would run out WITHIN 10 years.

Answer the point I made, not the point you would like to make.

North Sea Oil may well be in limited supply, but it is certainly not running out at the speed with which Better Together had the electorate believe in 2014.

I'm Scottish and a strong supporter of Scottish independence. I've got a married daughter, living in England and happily bringing her family up there. I don't get any sense of Britishness when I visit and recently there's much more English identity to the fore. Shared values are disappearing.

Ah well, I imagine that suppliers of blue tents will be rubbing their hands with glee at this very minute.

There's a specialist in Grasmere that has literally hundreds of jigsaws. I just don't know of any similar option in Scotland.

Okay I admit it - I'm old and boring and I like doing jigsaws. I also have a dislike of buying jigsaws (well most things) online. How come I can't seem to find a decent stockist of jigsaws in Scotland? Garden centres and the likes usually have a small selection but nothing very large.

Even if it's an Ivorean home game, surely the two authorities involved could have arranged the fixture at a Scottish venue? The travel cost difference would be minimal.

If being rained on regularly at almost any time of the year is your thing, then welcome to Scotland, you will indeed find our weather amazing.

Unless the game is being played in Liverpool at the request of Cote d'Ivoire I can only assume that the SFA are raking in mega bucks for TV rights to this game. Strange way to treat home based Scots fans who give their support through thick and thin.

Scotland is a country, pre-existing the United Kingdom and at some point in the near future you are going to have to adjust to that idea.

Scotland isn't a territory, Andrew, it is a country. Get your mindset out of the days of the British Empire.

Well on the obvious point that irrespective of which issue is being decided, if the English majority want something their voting numbers will always count.

Well Scots certainly are, Andrew, and that is largely down to the undemocratic way in which the will of the English electorate was imposed on us.
