Exactly. Decades of game development have shown time and time again that players will optimise the fun out of anything if they're able. Being able to solve any enjoyable problem in a game by having the ability to wish it away will make this tech boring to 90% of players in an afternoon.

If I go to a restaurant I want to order something that the chef has determined with taste and skill is worth having. I don't want the chef to stand next to me and add things to the plate while I'm eating at my request, because then I'm not focused on enjoying my food.

The whole premise of it, even if it worked, is absurd. "You can tell it a game you want to play and then it'll make it for you while you play it" is not something many players at all would actually enjoy.

If any aspects of functional society manage to survive this particularly evil period then the only way to course correct will be an era of *enormous* accountability and consequence.

The plot of that movie is literally "Ash must convince a child that her mom really is dead" and at one point Brock does unfortunately hit on that child but it is overall a really visually interesting and emotionally satisfying little movie. Shout-out to "it's like alphabet soup without the soup"

This is partly coming from a place of frustration with Unreals weirder quirks but I also have no idea why you would use it in the first place (besides high end rendering I guess) if you were just going to cut against the grain it provides whilst doing so. That's nuts

My most fundamental understanding of the C++/Blueprint relationship is that C++ is supposed to facilitate blueprints because that's what Unreal likes and it basically immediately streamlines production pipelines for anyone else in the project. What are people doing otherwise??
