And how easy is it to lie about a DOB, like I said in my original thread? That isn't enough to gate NSFW channels and roleplay when a server is actively making itself 16+. Also some friends of mine who were in the server on day one have told me there used to be ID verification for those chats. Hmm..
Like Miny has stated, I also didn't know Spiderfan's age until after I was banned for calling out the massive security issue that could have allowed and DID allow minors to access NSFW content. Spiderfan/Fuzzy was in the NSFW chats. They were a minor. That means you guys fucked up.
This is exactly what I'm trying to say. These mods can kick and scream all they want but the fact of the matter is that DMing a mod a dob is not enough to gate an NSFW section in a server with minors. That's fucked up. Children's safety isn't something to just brush off.
So you allowed minors to basically freely access an entire NSFW section with porn and NSFW roleplay chats, hinging the entire thing on these minors possibly one day self-reporting? I haven't had much experience with running servers but that doesn't seem like prioritizing child safety.
You allowed minors into your server without properly gating the NSFW channels for an entire month. This isn't about us, it's about your lack of responsibility taken for the potential endangerment of teenagers in your own server.
I'm not really sure how many servers there are; I haven't been too active in the LO fandom since getting banned since the whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth. I adore Mr Henderson and all the other cuties in the game but idk how long it'll be before I go looking for another server 😔
But yeah in short this is a server that had MULTIPLE incidents of drama caused by minors accessing adult content, failing to gate said adult content properly and the mods proceeding to have a hissy fit when called out on their problems. Don't join the Look Outside Community server. PSA over i hope 🥲

Multiple mods then proceeded to harass me and my partner before banning both of us. I know that at least two other people who weren't arguing on the mods' behalf were banned. Shortly after they pinged @everyone with this, *right after banning me for respectfully talking abt a big problem with a mod*
I used to be in that server, although I became much less active after an incident involving a personal matter between two other members being blown up into an entire ban situation which highly triggered many members, and I pointed out that just by lying about dob teens could access all NSFW (3/idk)
They have banned multiple people for no reason and then posted gifs memeing about their own admin abuse. More importantly however is that the server was an 18+ space for a long time and then they changed it to a 16+ space without properly gating NSFW channels and roleplay for over a month. (2/idk)

Just finished my little two-song guitar practice for the day. Gotta build up the calluses again so I can't do very much at a time right now but I'm proud of the progress I'm making. Learning some new songs too (Eye in the Sky and Little Talks)!! Feels so good to make music >~<
