I'd just ignore this and laugh at it if it didn't come from top Oregon Republicans and a vice-chair of the committee that will decide the final transportation bill.
I always like to have evidence before I criticize someone's views and policies online. So I guess that's one silver lining of this bill: Any Republican who supports this should not be taken seriously in transportation policy decision ever. IMO.
lol the #ORleg House and Senate republicans just released a bill that would repeal the Oregon Bike Bill (ORS 366.514), a law in place since 1971 that requires all major road reconstruction projects to include a minimum of 1% of the project budget on bike/walk stuff.
