This year might have been one of my better gaming years; played a lot of games and was very close to putting Deltarune or my usual Splatoon 3, but I played a hell lot of new games this time around

Unsure if the game will ever be finished considering it’s a student-made project built in ~4-5 months; it’ll be sitting on a back burner for sure, maybe in limbo forever, but I have plans for future game projects once I get Game Design Docs running for them 🔥🔥

TY for the suggestion, though if the game was published in its current state I fear it would be unplayable😭! The vital mechanics were not developed in time, and game is quite literally in pieces; 3 things were coded separately, however would break when merged and we didnt have time left to solve it

in more depth, it’s supposed to be Flash / Newgrounds type of game; badly drawn and purposefully rigged against the player

We never got implemented unconventional combat in time but that was stuff like pushing enemy collisions off the screen or using UI elements as weapons, 4th wall breaking stuff

My semester is ending soon and the game my team n’ I have been working on is still a prototype, so it unfortunately won’t be published on Steam 😔

The game is made using Lua; its supposed to be a 2d dungeon crawler + RPG battle system! Will def be on the back burner for now
