You would think that Texas being plastered all over the album would have signaled more love during the tour, but them only getting two days vs. Paris/Chicago (3), Atlanta (4), LA/NYC/NJ (5), and London (6) threw everybody off.
As for Chicago, as a Renaissance N1 attendee, we always get crumbs. 🫠
Take Atlanta's privileges, multiply them by 6, and distribute them between Houston and Chicago.
The outlining process for this feature film script I've been working on has probably been the hardest hurdle to get over, but I finally have a detailed document to work with, including my working title, logline, synopsis, and themes I'll be covering.

The old adage about not shopping where they won't hire people who look like you is real. All of the tools of the civil rights era being necessary again less than a generation later because Republicans voted for white nationalism is nothing short of vile.
One very easy way that graduates of complicit universities could show their dissent would be to withdraw donations from the university and make very public and vocal donations to HBCUs and community colleges. Donate, and then tell the university why you’re doing it on socials or by email.
Meanwhile, a Black boycott is tanking Target stock while plenty of y'all are still up and through there. But hope y'all had fun on that Target run!*

Finding a job in general has been discouraging on my end for the past 4 years as it is, but all of these affordable screenwriting platforms shutting down isn't making it easier on me, either. I'm grateful for what I have so far, but things are getting very grim.
I'll admit that I've been out of the loop with the news as a result of real life circumstances...but finding out that ScreenCraft is shutting down, having taken one of their free courses last year, is incredibly disappointing. #scriptsky

The reason why they use "DEI" instead of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion is because if they spelled it out, people would know going against it is pro-segregation
"Pulling back on DEI" - letting us know that this is going to be a segregated shopping experience.
We need to get far better at messaging and counterargument.
This was definitely a sign from them and from God telling me they were no good news, and just for that, I'm actually grateful for it all not working out.
