I love Ben McKenzie and his fervent crusade against crypto. Always knew Ryan was a good egg.

Thanks to a rec by @amesville.bsky.social I started using the Quiche browser on my phone a few weeks ago and I love it so far. Recommend if you want something with a built-in ad blocker. Thanks, Ames! @quiche.industries
I saw one towing a tiny U-Haul trailer and it somehow made the Cyberyuck look even more ridiculous.
I don't want to read any author's notes, tbh. They don't add anything to a story for me (except make me annoyed/exasperated) so I always skip them.
I'm sad we don't get more Jaws-themed ice skating
Aww, yay! That will make Mary very happy! Thank you. βΊοΈ digitalcookie.girlscouts.org/scout/mary90...

I definitely feel her on that. I just finished it and it is for sure a bittersweet feeling. Itβs probably my all-time favorite show and now there is no more βnewβ show of it for me ever.
I did it! After 8 years I finished the fucking show \o/ #pleaseclap
I have been putting off watching the last season of "The Americans" for years because I liked the idea of having some truly outstanding tv left to watch. But I bit the bullet the other day and now I only have 1.5 eps to go.
hey Mom can you come pick me up. yeah everyone on the niche microblogging website is arguing about who has the correct emotional posture to the unknowable future again
finally, we're living through precedented times
Literally begging you to post about Just Some Stuff. We will see the news I absolutely promise. Twenty people will repost the same exact thing about the news. Only you can post about a turtle you saw

I would have used a spray. Butter would have been better!
Not that I love my dog more than my kids, but you can be silly and affectionate and goofy with a dog in a way that you mostly can't with teenagers. Plus, the dog will always seek your approval and happiness, which teenagers just won't, lol.
When I was in jr high, my best friend's parents got a dog and I used to joke that they loved that dog more than their (teenaged) kids. Now that I have two adolescent children and a new puppy, I get it. Sorry for judging you, Mrs. Katz! You were right all along.
Crumbl cookies are awful. The taste, texture, flavors--nothing about them is good.
I made that cake a few years ago for New Yearβs and didnβt care for it. I felt like it needed salt which the recipe didnβt call for. Did you put salt in yours?
I can't look at them on my phone at all anymore, the ads are a nightmare.
Haha, I still do mail merge to print my own and I feel like a god* being the only person in my life who knows how to use such an arcane skill.

Giving myself the Christmas gift of unsubscribing from many, many email lists π
@amesville.bsky.social !!!
LOL, my gmail address is just my name with the numeral "1" after it and I've had a lot of younger people be like, "wow, you must have gotten this early!" Such a nice way of calling me old π
I miss this show SO MUCH. What a wasted opportunity. It's up there with Pushing Daisies for me in terms of cancelled shows that made me want to never start watching another new show ever again :/
Did you know? Black Friday is named in honor of Rebecca Black, who invented Friday in 2011.
It's supposed to mimic a summer village fΓͺte--the first season got deep into the history of British baking. And the show originally moved locations for each episode. The bakers made a food from each region they visited (like scones in Scotland, pudding in Bakewell, pasties in Cornwall, etc.).
