I was the COO of a smaller IT firm and have done at least 200 in person interviews. Biggest protip I can give anyone for interviews? Your interviewer doesn't want to be there-make yourself memorable more than proving your credentials. We hire people we remember not the most qualified.

There are some amazing guides out there. Start out on an easy setting-makes the AI just plum stupid. Gives you a chance to stretch your legs and sandbox a bit. Also, you can turn off barbarians for the first few times making it even easier at first. Lot of layers but, so rewarding and a vibe.

I've been a Civ addict since Civ 2. I don't like what Civ 7 is at the moment, massively disappointed but, so was a lot of people as they're massively changing it. Civ 6 though, imo, is peak.
Update: On the Civ 6 attempt to beat the game with all leaders? Just marked off Robert the Bruce and now have 9 out of 67.
