The NAD PhD fellows had their second retreat of the year April 10-11, featuring a clinical session with patients living with neurodegenerative diseases, an interdisciplinary networking event at Aalborg University @aau.dk and walks in Rebild Bakker 🌄
30 former, current, and potential lab rotation hosts gathered for an NAD event about talent and recruitment on April 3. The event featured insights into various aspects of recruitment in science, with discussions generating valuable points to consider when recruiting for the NAD PhD programme. 🌟

On January 8, we celebrated the recruitment of the 2025 NAD PhD fellows in Odense 🥂 Each fellow shared their unique motivation for going into neuroscience research. The festive afternoon also featured a talk by Professor Kasper Støy on intersections between neuroscience and robotics 🧠🤖
This week, the 16 newly recruited 2025 NAD PhD fellows gathered for the NAD opening retreat in Odense. The programme featured a workshop on presentation skills as well as a tour of the University of Southern Denmark's great new facilities, with 10 research groups providing tours of their labs 🔬
