Thinking about this quote from Persepolis creator Marjane Satrapi again.
I presented this as my thesis film at SVA last year. It's not complete but I like what I made here. I would like to revisit this idea and fully realize it someday. For now, you can take this as sort of a proof of concept for what i want it to be.

What You Can Do With Your Work Export before deadlines: Convert your Animate projects into widely supported formats (like MP4, GIF, or HTML5 Canvas) so they remain usable in other tools. Migrate to other Adobe apps: After Effects can import SWF/FLA exports for advanced editing. Adobe Express is suitable for quick, lightweight animations. Backup your files: Keep copies of your Animate installer and project files in case you need to reinstall or revisit old work.

swapping programs is like swapping from oil paint to watercolor.... and if you have a full supply of oils, a team who specializes in oils, and a client that is expecting oil paintings in a few months..
we cant just be reprogrammed! it takes time to make new workflows, muscle memory and nuances
Adobe stripping their clients of job essential software that they don't want to support any longer (instead of just letting people continue to use it as abandonware) truly highlights how companies think throwing away free money is good business.
