Has Tony Blair learned nothing from the Iraq war which destroyed his reputation? There were no WMDs there & there is no nuclear weapon in Iran. Neither was Iran directly threatening anybody other than its own people. Starmer must stay out of it & Blair should get back in his box.

As a Labour supporter, I find it very difficult to understand the proposed changes to the immigration system. We are already suffering staff shortages in the NHS & care system, not to mention hospitality. We need immigrants. Stop trying to emulate Reform & do something left-wing!

Gullible Glenn did much more than just that. He is basically incapable of not falling for obvious Trump lies. Remember when he was crowing about Trump cutting the military before Trump called for--as anyone with a brain could predict--a massive increase?

'We're not going to take it any
longer': Trump confirms US strikes
on Iran

Donald Trump has confirmed that the US has
launched "major combat operations" against
Iran in an eight-minute video on Truth Social.

He said Tehran's "menacing activities directly
endanger the United States, our troops, our
bases overseas, and our allies throughout the
world".

"For 47 years," Trump adds, "the Iranian regime
has chanted 'Death to America' and waged an
unending campaign of bloodshed."

He references the US embassy crisis from 1979
and 1981, where 66 hostages were held for 444
days.

"It's been mass terror, and we're not going to
take it any longer.

We'll bring you more of his words as we get
them.

Sooner or later Trump’s going to stop boasting about all the wars he's ended and start boasting about all the wars he's started instead.

A fact which the BBC carefully overlooked in reporting Labour’s β€˜crash’. The left-wing vote held up despite being split, while Reform came nowhere near winning.

In the light of another couple of days of US tariff madness a reminder that survival is the only real aim when a kleptocratic psychopath is given ridiculous amounts of power by the richest and most armed country in the world.

You don't have a "special relationship" with a psychopath like the UK government may think. You shouldn't really take the moral high ground with others as some in the EU want to do. You don't loftily declaim all grubby deals.

You survive another day.

As we near the 10th anniversary of Brexit, with evidence the damage to our economy is even worse than predicted, time to remind ourselves of Brexit Battalions β€˜Media Corps’ who pushed for and celebrated this. Good time to tag them in. Any apologies?

Rubio's speech at the MSC was not (and should not be) in the least bit reassuring for Europe, the fundamental substance not different to Vance last year

This US Admin and Europe no longer share the same values

This will continue to throw up risks in Ukraine, Greenland, big tech etc

Jim Ratcliffe’s greatest offence surely is making his billions off the UK & then buggering off to Monaco to avoid paying British taxes. And if he is going to criticise his country, he might at least get his figures right.

I’m not playing this stupid game with Reform or any of their multimillionaire groupies, vilifying immigrants and moaning about the benefits bill from their tax havens and Dubai penthouses. Then lying about what they said and why.

Reform is a racist party. Relying on racist votes for power. End of.

Wes Streeting saying on Today that Mandelson is β€˜not the man we thought he was’ but the trouble is, he is exactly the man we thought, just on a much worse scale than almost anyone thought. And there is an alternative world where none of this is this govt’s problem, because they never gave him a job

One of the things about Mandelson and others mentioned in the Epstein Files is how untouchable they all believed themselves to be to commit so much damaging material to email.

Yes, the GOP controls Congress. That's why it's key to show Congress COULD stop the madness. And it's not just the DHS bill. Congress could repeal the prior multi-year $75b for DHS; set up a special investigative committee (cf. Watergate); amend the Insurrection Act; etc.

Hey, we're getting to Greenland.

"I was going to leave it out of the speech..."

Apparently Greenland is going to be American because they defended it from the Nazis in World War II, which is bad news for Paris I guess.
