Not sure.... is it a bit like the farm? depends if you have a wife/husband or lover who depends on you financially. For the very talented it provides protection of the original work from untalented exploitation

I know how you feel Roj.. Just professionally I am so much in admiration of the storylines, acting, plotting, photography and and... I know of no UK TV series that is a patch on Chicago PD,,, Lots to learn and as a viewer I became hooked as well!

Chicago PD is an absolutely brilliant series now in it's 11th season. IMBd rating 8. Look at the production values, story line, acting in Ep 1 series 1 and tell me your not hooked!
They set an amazing high bar then diversifié into Chicago Fire.. characters intermingle between 2 series.
It would be interesting - quite a few of the actors are still around so it would be fascinating to hear their take... on the extras part of the disc
It was one of the few true co-productions - Flemish - Belgium television organised all the filming in Belgium as well as extras and dressing the Grande Place. Jerry always seemed to get a bit more film time for his shows. He knew how important it was to get location footage and with BRT it worked!
I enjoyed that so much Andrew and learned a few things I didn't know about Series 1. Thank you for making that homage to Secret Army -
Certainly working on that was a high point in my career and I remember it with pride and pleasure. It was so 'professional' and the acting was special...
I always think Secret Army made me into a proper director - lifted my game.... It was a real honour to be asked to work on it
I'm off to my boat in Martinique tomorrow to so won't get time to view much more on the B7 box set as I have no disc player out there but I think the extras content is amazing. So much careful research has gone into the discs and I can't wait to get back and view my episodes 'upgraded' and improved
My B7 collection arrived with my sister and I spent this morning watching the brilliant Matthew Sweet interview Sally Knyvette. He does so much original research for his interviews and leads the subject into areas which normally you wouldn't go. I found her life story fascinating. Wonderful woman!
Yes I really liked that script.. 90% Terry Nation.. it was what the series was commissioned on.
