When I open my social media feeds, it's obvious: the age of writing code with our fingers is ending. LLMs can write code much faster.
But was it ever about the speed of code creation? I think not.

Well, sure, my day job is in #csharp as well, and I'm glad for all the 'functional possibilities', but it would still want the focus to be #fsharp, and I'd fear it would be mostly modern #csharp if stated that way. #fsharp needs the spotlight π¦!

This is the kind of post where I think the 'like/heart' icon is not the right interaction to make. That sucks, sorry for all the work for nothing.

I never understood fully why Microsoft got rid of. NET Standard to communicate the compatibility of features. I thought it was a reasonable abstraction, especially for libraries, instead of having to use (multiple) runtime monikers there.

I agree that git integration is just bloat in any ide - maybe with the exception of seeing local changes and jumping hunks.

Just released a new version of SpectreCoff π (v. 0.54.0), including support for .NET10 and caught up with Spectre.Console again - didn't realised there had been 4 versions released in the last 6 months π.

Not for that reason, no. I just dislike the concept of boss fights and I'm really bad at them. But even if I do them, the game doesn't end for me :p

Did you unlist this repo? Unfortunately I just now came around to check it out as I am returning to work on my other astro projects over Xmas. If you have it public anywhere, I'd be very interested in the source :) Happy holidays!

Try Vivaldi, it's awesome and highly customizable. I use it now since a year, and I love it, can't go back.

I've worked at a company that was taken over by PE. It tried to scale up 5x in 5 years, bought lots of other companies, everything fragmented, the culture got way worse, best coworkers left, and now they're flipping it. I left after 4 years, too naively believing in the vision for too long.
