Bruce Wayne is a beacon to every other member of the Wayne family left on the outskirts. Kids ostracized for being LGBT, or marrying someone of a different race, or deciding to be a journalist. A REAL one.

The Waynes also left their son to Alfred. And in my headcanon, I believe that is because Bruce's direct line was the only good branch and all the other Wayne branches were garbage. One thing about rich white people--they stay having wills.
