Sometimes I feel lucky to be so old! 🤣
One of my favorite performers. I had the honor of seeing him in concert. Great show.
Never too late! I was already a bread baker five years ago, so I went for knitting.
Not very well, but my coping mechanism is dehydrating, canning, and planning my garden, which are healthier coping mechanisms than alcohol.
Know how we can support trans people? Stop footnoting them. Stop saying, “Their son—who used to be their daughter,” “Our friend—who is a trans woman.” They have a son. We have a friend. Their gender history is rarely relevant, and we “other” people with these asides.
Perfect! Why didn’t I think of that?
The dehydrator is full of fruit once again. I have managed to run it, at least 13 of 14 trays full, every day since it came.
I am already out of places to store food. #notreadyforprimetimepreppers
Okay, I misinterpreted. I was thinking of income as gross income, and many people vastly underestimate what their business is actually costing in overhead. If this was how to grow your profits by 10x, that’s a whole different issue and I agree with you.
(I have no dog in this fight; I’m just an old crone who neither consults nor buys services, but I get why someone would encourage witches to value themselves.)
That’s…kind of a cynical view of your clientele.
I’ve seen people burn out because their margins were too small and they were forced to work full time and “witch” in the margins. Their own spiritual journey suffered. Your time has value, and people either decide to pay that value or not.
I’m with ya, my friend. I have yet to produce more than a hat or scarf, and those all have wince-worthy errors. But they keep heads warm!
Panda Excess?
Protests work if 3.5% of the population take part.
Our protests and boycotts will work, but, only if we unite to do so.
Don't let cynics, defeatists, or worse, bad actors, tell you different.
Thanks to all who take part.
Let's keep it going.

Best of luck. Best thing I ever did for myself.
Food dehydrator loaded with trays.
Got a food dehydrator. And some canning equipment. No reason, of course…
First batch is in: mangoes, apples, lemon and lime peel, lemon zest.
The pettiness continues. Firing the head of the National Archives because they asked for documents back. What a child. thehill.com/homenews/adm...
Mo-cap requires a human being. They are trying to eliminate using actual people.
Don’t worry about the implications. I’m sure it’s all going to be just fine….
Multiplying to control women. Living people they care about not at all. Killing off those who can’t be fed into their war machine is fine—we are excess and subhuman, in their minds.
“Stranded for her” is funnier. Also SO relatable.
They do not see the Palestinians as human. They want to move them like they are cattle. Chattel, even. They are without empathy to a sociopathic degree.
Watched the Star Trek: Section 31 movie yesterday. Pretty sure it was written by AI. The number of movie it flat out stole from could be a drinking game. Breathtakingly bad.
Mexico refusing the plane means those people will be kept in camps and likely forced to work against their will. So, awesome.
Hey, we’ll take what we can get!
Oh, sweetie. I’m sending all the light and love to you and Lord Byron. Warm hugs.
Yikes! That’s a long time. I’ve never had a wait time like that!
The wait times are deceptive—I often get a “6 weeks wait time” book in just a week or two.
I knit or quilt.
While listening to books, of course. #booksky
Even after writing existed, reading aloud was a frequent family event. Listening to books has been around pretty much as long as books have.
Remember, kids, that before you get to the apocalyptic hellscape, you have to live through the apocalypse.
