JFC. As a copy editor by trade (one of many), I've always nursed a special hatred for Grammarly, but this is on a whole other level of loathsome.
“Instead of producing what looks like a generic critique from a nameless LLM,” Wired reported last week, Expert Review “lists a number of real academics and authors available to weigh in on your text. To be clear: Those people have nothing to do with this process.”🤬
So apparently grammarly stole my fuckin identity
A Siamese cat, leaning back on a denim-clad lap, smiling sleepily at the camera.
Kevin wants to know if you've heard the good news about Lap.
(The good news is that Lap is good.)
It's looking increasingly like these guys thought that if they could wreak more death and destruction than the other side then they would be respected as strong powerful men and they would "win" and that would make them big important heroes. Very possibly they had no rationale deeper than that.

Artwork by Monica Trinidad, featuring illustrated tan-colored text on a purple background: “Block It! Don't Build It. Don't Fill It. Don't Fuel It. How are YOU disrupting the ICE kidnapping, detention, & deportation machine?" In the middle are three rows of drawings in orange, tan, and black, depicting: a protest in front of a construction vehicle, transport vans and three Avelo Airlines planes, and hands holding and ripping apart money and a paper with "Palantir" on it.

That number is burned into my consciousness. I inadvertently learned that you could see private conversations in public chat rooms when using Telnet instead of a browser on GeoCities. Holy shit
We turned away from the light when we invented a way to go online without the computer screaming in warning.

Omg no, you’re not going to make Anthropic into “resistance tech.” Nope nope nope
Oh no, I was agreeing with you, but added that caveat b/c Utah, over 25 years ago. I see nothing has changed, though.
Check out Indiana here. I wanna say Florida also altered their laws similarly. I think I’m missing other states that have pushed/are pushing for more widescale changes like this.

Telling yourself "you got this" is self-care.
from the IG page where this 2022 video originated: "13-year-old Naiara Tamminga stood in front of the Grand Rapids City Commission and said what adults refused to say.
She called out their failure and hypocrisy in the killing of Patrick Lyoya. A child showed more courage than the people in power."
Well, I mean, that’s supposedly okay now, so…
And more maturity too.
and your president.
75% is generous
I don’t think there is anyone in Congress who speaks as well as her.
I’m inclined to up that to 85%. And could totally be convinced to go higher.
