I was watching the replay of the test and they said for the final day, when all 4 results were possible, the admission rates were $10 and free for under 16s. We need to learn. Affordable prices will bring the fans to the grounds

Pressure does strange things but if Boland and Lyon can play for 18 overs and make 50 plus then drawing the test shouldnt pose too many issues for india
So we have passed the winter solstice. Astronomically the first day of winter( ud fool me!) but cricket wise the sun is getting its gear together and padding up for April! Roll on
To know that ive followed his example all my life but still couldnt bat like him is a touch disappointing!
It may be that Bazball as a brand of cricket is not compatible with adaptability or balance- its just one way of playing which can be mercurial one day and pedestrian the next - how often its one or the other may depend on the opposition and conditions. Lack of consistency is its charm and drawback
And Mr Crawley you are in 52C a seat specially reserved for you in honour of your total run tally for the series!
If you cant get Head you just have to swallow your pride
Ladbrokes pisses me off and Englands tactics is doing the same! Santner may have a 50 but he is a no 8 and the new ball is moving around with 9 fielders on the boundary
Gorgeous ground
If you need 2 slips and 2 gullies to a spinner, not surprised no one wants to play!
Out- for missing a rank full toss! Dont care if its hitting or not
Absolutely- its a feel good garbage. Entertaining. Sort of movie one stumbles across when the days play has been rained off and you have little else planned!
Bugger advent calendars for xmas. We should have an advent calendar for the CC starting in the new year!
For the time your daily posts has to suffice
Eric Hollies and the (V)Ivy
Keep them coming as most tests now get wrapped up in two and a bit days thats the closest we will get to any cricketing images!
He together with Brook are perhaps the two most impactful batters in world cricket today. High class innings which was a game changer
It has to be Bethell. Id be more interested to see who will bat at no 1.
Very true and you honestly couldnt compare two more contrasting batters
Brook is a unique talent but one cant help wondering how far ahead Sir Len may have been had the war not denied him 5 years of test cricket at his prime
Think losing Shakib and Mushfique has been a big blow. They lack one or two gun players to support an inexperienced but decent middle order. But if they get the runs on the board they could give teams far better than Wi a run for their money
(A) without doubt. Bethell almost cannot be dropped; the media attention he is receiving he could run as PM!
BDs overall bowling strength is not just very balanced but largely under rated. Few will know that Tajiul and Mehidy have 400 test wicket in 100 tests between them. Their batting prevents them being competitive against top test sides but some really good signs for the future with a genuine pacer
Tempting!
I think i could become a serious BD cricket fan if Athar Ali Khan retired!!!
BDs Achilles heel is their batting. They have a very balanced attack and its sad they dont get too many overseas tours. Their pace attack is not an icc ranked no 9 sides attack
Think its time for you to get the ice cream out!
Yep. Spin against the tail exposed- that saloon is looking pretty dry to me!
Thats got to be gone
So true. We all love the excitement of pace but its the guile of spin which provides the most compelling viewing
Its difficult isnt it. If u just graft ull have a ball with ur name on it. If you go like Athanaze you will perish definitely. Somewhere in between.
I think Rana will have a burst post tea which could be very important
