Lily C.A.T. and the beginning of Aliens are the only two things I've seen that really talk about it.
You go on a mission and come back. People you love are now gone or older than you. Everyone's age is out of sync.
You have to weigh these consequences against every job you consider.
I love it when space travel in scifi stories requires cryo sleep. Missions operating on time scales so long that literal lifetimes can pass by while you're on your commute. Stories barely scratch the surface on why that's so interesting!!
I haven't read Freeze Frame Revolution, but you really can't go wrong with Peter Watts.
The Forever War (Joe Haldeman, 1974) uses relativistic time dilation rather than cryo sleep, but it's all about how destabilizing the experience is.
(The book is also very, VERY '70s, for better and worse.)
