U know how obsessed 2017 art commentary youtubers were with anatomy when they'd make whole videos on 1 random person. Having the skill to meaningfully criticize art is an art itself but these guys aren't the brightest so they latch onto anatomy because it's the only concept they can sort of grasp

Construction is still important so don't ask if I hate waffles but spumco dudebros wanking off construction reminds me of when someone doesn't know how 2 give criticism or articulate their points but they still want 2 rip something apart so they're just like "yeah idk your anatomy stinks bro"

The real trick to success is to be excited about your OCs, and people will take notice and be excited with you.

People can tell when you're just throwing on specific traits to tick off a box that a wide margin of people will like.

Everyone’s inspired by older anime/cartoons but they never internalize the creative ways they cut corners.

I feel like there’s a similar mentality where indie filmmakers often create their own barriers to making something because they don’t have the right gear or something. But if you have an idea you’re very passionate about, you’ll try to get it out by any means necessary.
