It was angsty, funny, bantery, spicy… and just freaking great. Plus, it has my two favorite idiots traveling through time, a Ron and Harry who act like adults, and one very astute Crookshanks.

Distantly, Hermione hears Pansy shouting, the sound drowned out by the static filling her ears. “Granger… Hermione! Fucks sake, you weren’t supposed to drink the whole thing!”
Husband: I don’t think I’m going to fall asleep, but my back hurts so I need to be horizontal for a while.
10 minutes later.
Husband: *snoring*

Tell me why I woke up in a panic from dreaming about booking a plane flight. I don’t usually remember my dreams but I was incompetent in this one when it came to booking a return flight from wherever I was.
Is this a metaphor because I’m applying for a new job? 🤔

💯 Engagement has to go beyond a quick kudos click. I comment on everything I read and like because I know how much comments mean to me. “God tier, 100k+” requests exhaust me. There’s value to be found in WIPs and one-shots and engagement can inspire completion or new works.
I tend to imagine her more on the masculine side, so my mind goes to herbal scents like rosemary.

Lavender picks apart the sweet alyssum, green staining her fingers as tears stain her cheeks. Pansy lingers near the door, hands tucked into trousers, covetous of the attention given to worthless flowers from a worthless man. One day, she’ll shower Lavender in orchids, in love.
Heliotrope, for devotion. Chrysanthemum, for love. Daffodil, for regard. Daisies, for loyalty and secrets kept. Iris, for trust. Yarrow, for eternity.
Romilda prepares the bouquet, imbuing intention into each bloom. Amortentia is temporary, but her love is everlasting.
Harry’s will be too.
“I could love you,” Pansy admits, over the bouquet of lavender and blooming thyme. It’s practical and sweet, with restorative uses beyond her viewing pleasure. Not only for her patients, but them— to mend a jagged chasm.
Neville smiles, taking her hand. “I already do.

I did the math once on one of my most popular stories. I got one comment for approximately every 10 to 15 kudos. On one shots, it was significantly less. Positive interaction is crucial to keep authors writing, especially in a work in progress.
Comments are what keep authors writing. Positive feedback can be the difference between someone abandoning a project and finishing it.
Parent to parent, I feel that!
It’s a weak plot device (one I’m guilty of using in the past). Dramione doesn’t always have to have Ron hate to be good.
