Conditions seem right for a sloppy ass purposely abrasive and terrible punk rock revival.
Young people. Get on that. You literally don't need to know how to do anything in order to make it happen.

They're doing time loops. I can't resist time loops in video games. Fantastic style. RPG skill elements based on your personality guides your options. Really strange story that INSTANTLY had me intrigued. I was crushed when the demo ended.
2. Dispatch store.steampowered.com/app/2592160/...
You are an ex-superhero leading a team of less respected heroes to utilize their strengths to keep up with emergencies around the city. I got the sense that the story will actually be good. It seemed well written. Excited to see where it goes!
3. Baby Steps store.steampowered.com/app/1281040/...
It's amazing how often people try to do humor in games and fail. The writing in this game is very funny. The premise is stupid. The execution is great. It is hard to traverse the landscape but you do feel like you have control. It is fun to do.
4. Dice Gambit store.steampowered.com/app/1812860/...
There's so much going on. It's a grid strategy game where dice power your attacks. The battle system works very well. There's SO MUCH to how you level your characters/build your team. Interesting battle types. Incredibly stylish. Impressive!
5. Town to City store.steampowered.com/app/3115220/...
This is made by the devs who did Station to Station recently. It's a super relaxed city builder where you need to make your city look nice and cozy to make it grow. Both very casual but with fun tech tree systems and all that stuff.
6. BALL x PIT store.steampowered.com/app/2062430/...
This is a vampire survivors type of game crossed with breakout (the game where you bounce the ball to break the blocks). On paper, that sounds fine. A bit novel. In execution, they did so many amazing things. This is incredibly fun and clever.
7. Agatha Christie's Death on the Nile store.steampowered.com/app/3150480/...
This is a follow up to the Murder on the Orient Express game they did a few years ago. I like murder mysteries. I liked the last game. It's not deep puzzling, but it's well done, good style, and fun source material.
8. Date Everything store.steampowered.com/app/2201320/...
You have glasses that turn stuff in your house into datable people... like your mirror, water heater, or journal. The way they personified some of the things was clever. Sometimes funny, sometimes dark. I need to see where this is going.
9. Morsels store.steampowered.com/app/1719040/...
Creature collecting twin stick shooter roguelike game with amazing style and visuals. It's both wholesome and kind of disturbing. Seems like a lot to explore and unlock.
In the past, I've top "top 10 demos of Steam Next Fest" stuff on either Twitch or Youtube. I'm off both, but I loved making those lists. So I did! Here's my top ten!
10. Egging on. store.steampowered.com/app/2897610/...
You play as an egg. Looks nice. Controls nice. Crushing when the egg breaks.
Have you ever played a demo for a video game that was so bad you were convinced that it's entire purpose was to just put spyware on your computer or farm steam account names or something?
It happened so gradually that I barely even noticed... but my instagram feed is now nothing but people doing flips.
In a world where you get an equal amount of blowback for being inclusive by people who don't like inclusivity, and for not being inclusive by people who DO like inclusivity, you're damned if you do, and damned if don't.
May just have to do the one that's morally right and not base it on blowback.
When my grandparents were growing up, they didn't have TV. They're so old.
Wait... when I was growing up, regular people didn't have internet........
Black Gives Way To Blue is better than Dirt.
I said it. Everyone I know on this platform is too young to judge me for this statement.
But for anyone who reads this and has no idea what I'm talking about, just know that I'm right.
