Played a few hours of @beholdstudios.bsky.social Deep Dish Dungeon last night and really loved it. Feels a bit like King's Field and Valheim to me but is still very unique. Wishlisted!

One complaint though: you can't disable view bobbing, one of my buddies gets motion sickness easy and had to quit.

At age 41 I finally got around to playing the original Clock Tower alongside my wife and daughter. My daughter was mapping out the house as we played on paper, it was so cool! We got 3 of the endings our best one being Ending B. Very glad to have absorbed this piece of #horror #gaming history.

Today via bandcamp I discovered a soundtrack for a game called Versebound. I then realized it's basically a #Finnish mythology version of #VampireSurvivors and now I must play it. The soundtrack is great too!

Instead of having a dialogue that's genuine and transparent with their community they're just extending their own silence to try and build hype, but the game is obviously dying. It's such a shame because I love Hunt so much, but the writing is on the wall. Not sure how much time the game has left :(

I think the writing is on the wall. Dwindling player base, especially with leaving Bounty Clash in makes queue times awful. Half empty lobbies, no more weather, missing maps, crashing to desktop, viewmodels broken, UI still trash. The list goes on, it's defeating to see how much they dont' care.

If all Crytek is doing is hyping up giving us back content the already put in the game but took away from us I think I'm done with Hunt. So much for QoL and "transparency" and "communication" this year.

Patch your game, nobody cares about vague bullshit. Speak to your community. You're not building hype, you're dragging out your own silence.

Not sure if you're aware, but multiplayer in FlyKnight appears to be broken? A few threads created in Steam discussions tonight.

Great game btw, feels amazing to play, just wish I could actually play it with my buddy who I gifted a copy to.

I used to only ever run BlackCoat or Billy Story, both skins you've obliterated and look like absolute garbage now. Fix the view models, this is absurd. Also Billy's coat looks atrocious, like a dirty sponge or something.

But wait, just ask Shroud and he’ll tell you how Marathon is doomed because big boy games like Tarkov don’t tell you what a pack of cigarettes is for. It has “friction” (AKA poor QoL) and that’s what makes games great.
