I’m doing that today bringing the whole turkey dinner to my in laws so they have a Christmas. Not doing to next year.
It’s so much fun to find information about the past that people said didn’t exist. Recently, while reviewing summary convictions for the Quarter session. Three of those a convictions were for keeping a house of ill fame = prostitution. I found real evidence of prostitution in my community from 1885.

Ugh, it’s one of those nights. I let the dog outside for 5 minutes and he comes back having rolled in shit. He smells awful and he thought it was a game to try and catch. I finally caught after he rolled on the carpet and my clean bed. Now to bath the smelly beast and laundry.
I bought a French loaf at our local bakery and some squares today. While I ran into another store for some milk, my 10 year old daughter took o big bite off the end. She couldn’t resist and it was still warm. Honestly, I don’t blame her.
I have bees and beehives . They are my friends except when I need to harvest the honey then they are pissed off angry bees.

This is scary as in Canada we are fully aware of how dangerous bird flu is. It is spreading throughout North America and highly contagious amongst all birds. Many farmers have proactively culled their animals to prevent the spread and you need permits to transport live birds. Knowledge is power.
So delicate and intricate. It must take so much patience to create this art.

Spent the day out in the bush lot ignoring the world and participating in the most Canadian of activities. We were boiling down maple sap to maple syrup.
Please don’t pretend to be Canadian. You are easily found out and you make life difficult for actual Canadians. Stop acting entitled to our identity. Own your nationality and apologize for the mess your politicians made.
We went from “what good are the humanities?” to “suddenly, no one can read” in about a year, and the answer to the first question is the disinformation and lack of critical thinking you see all around you. *That* is why you need the humanities. This is what they prevent.

Please keep in mind that Shell Canada operates a refinery in Sarnia Ontario that refines Canadian crude. Also suncor and imperial oil (Esso) have refineries in Sarnia Ontario and refine Canadian oil. These companies hire Canadians and support their local communities.
