Abby is just letting Luciana cry it out whilst holding Luciana but at the same time Abby is also gently caressing Luciana’s back and exhales softly
“That will not happen baby, because if you aren’t watching him then I will be and you know that nothing can ever get past me, okay? I promise baby.”
“Actually dad, um, she’s not a friend but actually she is my mom and yes but it isn’t her fault because she has been hurt a lot in the past so it takes her a little longer to warm up for her.”
Abby gives her dad a half smile and exhales softly “Give her time. She’ll say hello when she’s ready.”
“Baby, that’s why they have you pump breast milk. If he cries because he’s hungry or needs a diaper change then I’ll handle it, okay?”
Abby presses a gentle kiss on Luciana’s forehead “Breathe slowly for me and taking twenty minutes for yourself doesn’t make you a bad, mom, it is the opposite.”
Abby nods her head and watches as Violet quickly pools away with her magic and then Abby smiles at her dad because there is so much that Abby has wanted to tell him
“Hey dad. I’ve missed you, there’s so much I want to tell you but can we start with the amazing people that I’ve been blessed with?”
“No. No, please don’t say that because you aren’t failing him as a mom actually it’s the opposite because you have been the best mom since day one.”
Abby sighs softly and then Abby slowly sits down Luciana “I just want to make sure you aren’t forgetting that you need to look after yourself too.”
Abby nods her head and then smiles “I could start with telling everything I’ve done and everyone I’ve met, which includes you. I know my dad and he’ll be so happy knowing I have people.”
Abby then smiles at her mom “Most of all I think he’ll be so happy that I have finally settled down for good.”
“I know you did baby but it can still take months for your body to full recover. Are you sure you are properly healed?” Abby is still looking at Luciana with concern.
“But I also don’t want to annoy you by constantly asking so I am just going to go and make myself useful somewhere else.”
Abby takes the moment to be comforted by her mom and then smiles warmly but Abby is also feeling a little nervous about meeting her dad again after years.
“Is it weird that I don’t even know what to say to him? What do you say to someone who you thought died many years ago mom? I don’t know.”
“Wait, wait, wait. You just gave birth. Please let me do this for you baby, even if it is just this one time.” Abby kissed Luciana gently on the forehead
“Can you just sit down for me, baby? I know you want to do this but you need to rest, let me do this one and you can take the next one, okay?”
Abby is smiling whilst watching her mom but at the same time is staying quiet so that she doesn’t throw off her mom from doing the right spell and spot in Seattle.
“You found him?” Abby is now smiling widely and then Abby cuddles warmly into her mom “You are really amazing, mom. Thank you.”
Abby wakes up soon after and comes into the nursery but also gently places her hands on Luciana’s shoulders and massages them.
“Are you okay, baby? You sound like you’re in pain. Do you need me to get the soothing cream for your nipples again? I can if you need me to get them, babe.”
“He is?” Abby kissed her mom’s cheek and then gave Violet the biggest but briefest hug and smiles before packing a bag with a few days clothes
“Thank you so much mom. Do you want to come to Seattle with me? I know you have kind of met my dad but I would love for you to officially meet him.”
Abby continues for a while longer until she is confident that Luciana has fallen asleep and then Abby slowly stops fondling and sucking on Luciana’s nipples.

Abby’s eyebrows press together because she is really concerned about the ‘the things going wrong part’. Abby then gently puts her hands on her mom’s own.
“I don’t know about this anymore mom, maybe we shouldn’t do this because it isn’t worth it if you’re only going to end up being hurt.”
Abby will always be happy to do this for Luciana, even in the future and all that Luciana has to do is ask. Abby is looking up at Luciana the entire time.

Those words alone are enough motivation for Abby to continue but Luciana playing with her hair is also a nice motivation to continue.

“Yes, please I definitely still want a taste and you are right, if we do have a little one we will do so much better than what we are doing now.”
Abby smiles and sits on the bed preparing for a taste of Luciana’s boob and milk “Maybe take a year or two to let your body heal and recover, yeah?”
“I’m trying not to worry, it’s just the new parenting has me taking so many extra precautions that I didn’t even know I would even be worrying about.”
Abby then smiles warmly at Luciana and sits down on the bottom of the bed “Despite the worries I could definitely become a parent again.”
Abby nods her head and then rests her head on her mom’s shoulder and lets out an exhale and then Abby smiles warmly at her mom’s question.
“He’s so beautiful. I can’t wait for you to finally meet him and hold him.” Abby smiles and keeps her head lightly rested on her mom’s shoulder.
