I have the firm conviction that everything Armand does has, at least in part, something to do with Lestat.
Could mean I’ve been right all along (as many other people), and they’re splitting the story into two seasons. Or not. Maybe that’s just the part she’s focusing on 🤷🏻♀️
Collective mind power + whatever they did to him before the trial.
That scene gets misinterpreted all te time, but thinking Louis was winning the fight and Lestat did what he did out of pettiness takes a considerable amount of stupidity or intellectual dishonesty.
How can you possibly get to that conclusion?!
I completely agree. He delivered the half-blank, half-apocalyptic look so well.

Assad NEEDS to win for supporting actor, because not one single day goes by that I don’t think of his performance as Armand, especially in 2X05.
Yes! Everyone deserves this.
Lestat, Loustat, and all that jazz. open.spotify.com/track/5I0Rpx...
Of course Armand did that. I even understand him. Love him.
Rolin said that he made minor changes in season 2. And I tend to agree. The trial isn’t SO different from the books, when keeping Louis’ POV. I am, however, confident they’ll revisit bits of it through Lestat. It’s simply his story to tell.
I mean, Memnoch is far away and they’re already incorporating elements from later books, so this doesn’t sound worrying 🤷🏻♀️
Claudia haunting Lestat would tie everything together so perfectly. And Lestat really doesn’t look okay in that teaser 🤷🏻♀️
Not really, but I expect the past becoming a less predominant factor. However, I’m still hopeful we’ll see some of TVA, since they’ve established Armand as a main character.
I actually agree, Crissi! I totally expect bits from The Tale of the Body Thief, for instance. That being said, they also really want to explore Lestat’s backstory in depth.
I don’t necessarily think it’s one book per season, and yes, TVL and QOTD overlap, but moving forward I don’t think we’re going to keep having a heavy flashbacks structure. So these 8 episodes are mainly going to be about TVL.
I think QOTD will be the plot for the present, while most of TVL will be told as a tale by the protagonist.
Exactly. I literally don’t know who’s who.
