Thanks, I wonder how it will be changed since then if I draw it again
Triceratops cast skeleton in glass-enclosed corner of an exhibit. Real skull is mounted next to it, and frill of Anchiceratops is to the right.
Same Triceratops skull, now in a fully-enclosed glass case.
Same corral, but Triceratops skeleton is rotated around and facing left.
This Triceratops skull (collected by Elmer Riggs in 1904) was originally paired with the cast of the AMNH Trike, but it also found a new home in the Sue gallery. Meanwhile, that Triceratops cast is now facing the other way.

Gotta draw it again someday...

My long review of the 2025 edition of Dougal Dixon's The New Dinosaurs has just been published in Historical Biology. What is the 'use' of Speculative Zoology and how does this book connect to the history of dinosaur research? www.tandfonline.com/eprint/YTPSK... #SpecZoo #SpecBio
I've seen some people nitpick at museum panels with saying "Hey this should be written as A, not B" to show off their shallow knowledge. Complaints about 'outdated' panels or displays are mostly from people who don't try to recognize revising these things are related to financial issues.
There's constructive criticism, and there's performative targeted pompous attitude, oblivious to dynamics of working with mass media project. Cherish educational content, accessible to general public, we're desperately low on it.
This attitude was so widespread, I found myself adapting it too back in the day. To fit in the community? To be validated? But it's reflection of inexperience, anger and petty.
The amount of belittling, vitriol and arrogance I see from the community each time a palaeontology-adjecent media project shows up. Guys, you don't come off as intelligent by demeaning individual production members, you just prove you've no experience working in media, and come of as mean spirited.
Even though I wasn't a big fan of WWD 2025, I guess people around the internet are over-criticizing it for being so different from the original show.
There are people in this world who think they know more than others by picking up those 'errors'.

A bit of fun dinosaur art.
A beachcombing Allosaurus scores big finding the corpse of an Opthalmosaurus on the edge of the Sundance Sea (which puts me in mind of one of favourite Cure songs).

Please send me if there are anything else featuring my artworks, thank you
#Paleoart commissions are always open.
I have experience working on various books and papers, with the most notable artwork being the cover of the 4th issue of Volume 44 of the Journal of Vertebrate Paleontology.
Feel free to contact me!
Are there any photographs that you took during 'the best' presentation?
Narration was definitely not my taste - but the best part was when he didn't separate dinosaurs and birds in entire show
There are some people who don't recognize that they are crossing the line in real life...
Hope they credit all the artists next time
Promotional poster for PaleoFest 2026 at the Burpee Museum featuring JH Infernodrakon art
Infernodrakon reconstruction was also featured in promotional material at PaleoFest 2026. (Unfortunately the Burpee Museum did not credit any of the artists...)

The "valley of the whales" as it is better known is a classic locality from the late Eocene of Egypt. Most famously it is place filled with the remains of early whales, Archaeoceti, but it's less straight forward as a piece than one...
