Well, we're alarmed. We've been preparing for this since 2022, when we realized maga would elect him again. We sold our home, moved into a nice RV to practice living off grid, divested our savings and investments outside the US, and then finally moved the RV across the border, where it waits for us.

We just paid for a subscription to The Guardian, excellent journalism that still follows strict rules of integrity and vetting. We also make sure Reuters and AP are prominent in our news feeds.

I try to envision what would have happened if the CIA hadn't taken JFK out in 1963. No prolonged Viet Nam war, so much could have been avoided.

We learned this last summer when we boondocked in our RV, relying on our solar generator and panels for critical systems. We learned a ton and would have failed in an actual emergency. Kudos for jackery support for answering promptly on a weekend and helping!

I usually order from bookshop.org or directly through my local mom and pop bookstore, rather than support these monsters. I just ordered this one through my shop, a few bucks more but I can pay when they get it in, time value of money and all. Congrats, can't wait to read it Jim!
