Council tax is broken, but ACORN is fighting back and building the case for a Bailiff Free Liverpool - and a Bailiff Free Britain

The council are committed to ongoing dialogue with ACORN Liverpool and we will continue engaging with the council to protect our members and our communities! ✊
When our members or their neighbours are struggling with debt or being harrassed by bailiffs, we will be able to share their case directly with the council leadership to get support...
The council also agreed to investigate the policies and methods of the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham, who haven't used any bailiffs for two years - a big first step towards a Bailiff Free Liverpool...
The council agreed to look into whether council staff can attempt to visit residents who aren't responding to letters or calls, so they can identify vulnerable residents and residents who need support, before their case is escalated to enforcement...
