I met a childhood hero of mine today. Tim Jacobus is one of the major influences who inspired my love for making art. I remember being beyond wowed by the Goosebumps covers. I stared at the covers and tried to draw them, just as much as I spent time reading the books themselves. (If not more so)

1984’s ‘Indiana Jones and the Curse of Horror Island’. One of four Indiana J “game books” written by R.L. Strine before ‘Goosebumps’ fame.
12 year old me would have loved this as much as 52 year old me does. Now the completist in me wants the other 3!

Fall Lineups (1/4) Each of the major networks has unveiled its Saturday morning lineups for this fall. While NBC apparently has only live-action teens shows planned, here's the scoop on the standout shows you can expect to see on the other networks (all times are ET; all shows are animated unless otherwise noted). FOX Saturday lineup - Casper (9am): Introduced in February; based on the Harvey Comics character's movie adventures. - Goosebumps (10am): Live-action show based on R.L. Stine's books; moving to Saturdays. - Spider-Man (10:30am): Spidey gets a new time period for his third season which fits under the story umbrella "Sins of the Fathers". Look for Doctor Strange, Carnage, and Daredevil. - X-Men (11am): in it's fifth season, the show returns to its old time period, Episodes beyond the original 70-episode order are being produced at Saban Entertainment. - The Tick (11:30am): Ben Edlund's blue guy scores a new choice timespot for his third season. (8am): The Emmy-winning series(!) moves to weekdays. - The Adventures of Batman & Robin (3:30pm): A new time period, but the same 85 episodes. - Power Rangers Zeo (4pm): Live-action; the Rangers get a new name in April, based on the Zeo gem which gives them new powers. ABC - The Mighty Ducks (9am): From Disney, starring six crime-fighting ducks from an alien planet. - Gargoyles: The Goliath Chronicles (working title), (9:30am): Goliath and his clan move to network television with all-new episodes. - Hypernauts (10am): Live action show which began March 3; features three space cadets. - Canceled: Tales from the Cryptkeeper & Reboot.
Fall Lineups (3/4) CBS CBS - Felix the Cat (8:30am): New episodes from Film Roman for a second season - The Mask (9am): New episodes and new timeslot for Dark Horse's popular hero; The Mask will also be syndicated weekdays. - Ace Ventura: Pet Detective (10am) One Jim Carrey character replaces another (The Mask) in this time spot for a second season. - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (10:30am): Seventh season (I assume referring to its run on CBS); more new episodes from Fred Wolf Films. Carter (will I ever escape people with that name in things I like?), the teenager introduced this past season, will be featured.
Fall Lineups 4/4 - The WB & UPN WB Kids WB's Saturday morning lineup includes: Animaniacs at 9, Pinky & the Brain at 9:30, Superman at 10, and Earthworm Jim at 11:30. UPN UPN has dropped Space Strikers and Teknoman from its Sunday morning lineup. New shows will include The Incredible Hulk from Marvel.
