Joey, good to see you! Hope youβre doing well. iβm doing OK, just took an extended social media break. I plan on coming back at some point (and probably shouldβve made a post like this sometime earlier just to make sure everyone knew I was cool). Itβs a great community of solid people here πππΌ
Loki has Thorβs hammer in his thrall in this What If cover. Whatever will Thor do?!
Hello, everyone! Unfortunately, Loki is keeping me from my collection for the next couple weeks, so Iβm not going to be able to do my spotlights or #Thorsday posts until then. Iβll pop in for chats and reposts, though. But Iβll come back in a couple weeks with a doozy!

πππ They really had a lot of fun with comics in the 60s, that I think they have forgotten nowadays. Not saying theyβre not fun, but just donβt have that same kitschy flare.
For me, thatβs a lot of the fun of the game. I used to like watching Shaq dominate.
A Skrull disguised as Reed Richards uses some type of gas to subdue the Thing.
Fantastic Four 90 (Sept 1969) cover by Jack Kirby/Joe Sinnott. This is the start of Kirbyβs last multi-issue epic during his FF run (it was single issue stories afterward) and itβs a good one as The Thing is kidnapped by a Skrull and sold as a slave. And only one splash this issue, the opening page.
Midas tries killing him with β‘β‘
Oh, no! I love Shell-head, I guess Iβll have to find another superhero to follow! I love how characters and teams were constantly βdyingβ in the 60s. Final battle, this is the end, no more!π±
Truth! Doesnβt that look weird? They really gave him a goonish run in this. But I guess heβs not the god of running for a reason.
So true! College to NBA, basketball has been getting my attention this year. I like the three-point game, but I like the inside game more. Iβm a 90s basketball kid.
Lugosi's skid row films get a rough ride but I'm just thankful there's a legacy at all. Threadbare and endearingly barmy. And it's Lugosi. 1943.

Lol, now I do too! π Thank you.
Indeed! Someone made Vegas unhappy.
Yeah, that seems like the likely finals. Iβm glad weβre getting some good games here. Itβs funny how into hoops Iβm getting this year. You donβt understand how one-sport a guy I was.
Oh, sorry, man! I wish you good games and good bets this weekend. What are you looking at? Do you have a favorite?
Thank you, sir!, A little Swan, a little dolphin, now weβre all ready for summer!
Isnβt that a great onomatopoeia? Perfect value add.
Good morning, Monarch! Put in the call.
I hope youβre having a great Friday and have some good memorial day weekend plans!
Good morning, Aaron! βοΈπ«
This is Action Comics issue 480 page 8 (1978) by Curt Swan and Frank Chiaramante. Hawkman and Green Lantern are stuck in the JLA satellite fixing extensive damage from the rampaging Amazo Android. Superman was knocked straight out of the satellite into the ocean, but in typical Superman style, he bounces back with panache. Dolphins! He burst out of the ocean in a pod of dolphins, totally ready for summer. Sorry, Lantern and Hawk, you guys are stuck on space duty, no beach for you!
Happy summer everyone!πIn this Action Comics page of mine Supes is blasting out of the ocean with a pod of happy dolphins!π¬Green Lantern and Hawkman are STUCKπ© in space fixing damage to the JLA Satellite from Amazo.π°οΈBUMMER!π«πββοΈMore info in the #AltText #CurtSwan #Comics #ComicSky #ComicBooks #ComicArt
Good morning, Jeremy! Awesome art for a Friday! I had the same Superman idea, lol. Those are really cool pieces. Have a great day!
Thank you so much, Paula! I appreciate your comments π
100%! Experience it like you did when you first read it. π
Yikes! Letβs hope itβs not quite that devious. π It was the least terrorizing terror ever!
That hammer had to be going pretty fast! I guess heβs super graceful.
Right! π For someone who has perfect vision and can see a speck of dust across the universe, he misses a lot of specks of dust on his feet.
Lol! He had to get a few filler classes in, D stands for diploma!
