I've been having a lot of fun working on this haunted high school level. There's still a lot to do (gymnasium building will be the next section I work on ๐ตโ๐ซ) but it's getting closer and closer to a completed state!

Itโs crazy how much literally everything can change in just a few years. Remember life in the summer of 2023? Itโs hard for me to comprehend that we are all living in the same world that we experienced back then. It makes me wonder how drastically the world might shift again two years from now.
The last section of the game was actually pretty short, so I don't have much to say other than it all felt pretty standard for a Resident Evil game. I was happy with it overall, but I also understand some of the sentiment I've seen online that the second half isn't as strong as the first half.
I thought the atmosphere of the first section was generally very fun and often pretty silly (singing zombies were a highlight for sure). Even though the second section was still fun to play, the very bleak atmosphere and more militant monster designs made it feel simultaneously kind of miserable.
Finished RE9 last night! I really enjoyed it, but I was surprised by the way it turned into a completely different game after a certain point. It went from a campy survival horror experience to a borderline-depressing exploration/combat game and only partially came back from that by the end.
I need about $500 more to cover my insurance this month

I have recurring dreams about someone from my past who isn't alive anymore. In the dreams they always "come back" as if they never died, but they also never say anything. They usually just silently stare at me. Every time I have this dream I wake up feeling so exhausted and awful.
