I never heard of this guy and wasn’t sure what he meant by “hugging” a pot. I thought maybe it was a ceramics term I never heard before. I. can’t believe it’s exactly as dumb as it sounded. Who would brag about that?

Currently, I’ve been using b&w film because it’s new to me and interesting. Also, I’ve been trying to teach myself the “zone system” for proper exposures and I’ve been doing a decent job but I feel like I got pretty close on this photo and I was super proud of it.

I purchased this shockingly cheap Ken Ferguson bowl from Schaller Gallery recently, because it looked like the perfect raised cat food dish! It’s much better for them to eat from a raised bowl.
