Seeing that video of the girl calling the three inches of snow in Toronto a “crisis” nearly radicalized me. The snow on the sidewalk outside my door is up to my shoulders right now
I love him
I often neglect this pedal cause it can create some nasty feedback that quickly clips tracks but if you subtly play the depth and dwell knobs without instrument noise you can get some eerie little B movie horror film sounds
Buchla has such a beautiful shimmering high end, I love it
I’ve had a moog or two in my day but nothing sounds as simultaneously monstrous, gnarly, angelic, and crisp as the sub 37. Run it thru a reverb or a delay and this little devil really comes to life
Asking him if he’s the house loaf when we both know the answer is yes

I was right. Jean-Baptiste Del Amo for novel of the year. I was worried it wasn’t going to live up to my love of Animalia but it met those expectations in a completely different way. Really incredible book, full of pristine sensory descriptions and a crushingly despairing story full of violence
Something really sinister is going to happen in this, isn’t it? I’m only 80 pages in but I can feel it coming
