The fact Cheeto hasn't called her a nasty woman, low IQ or some other pejorative, leads me to believe this is all performance. I already knew that, but still.

PROBE RIPS ANDY IN $130M HUD MESS
By Deborah Orin
Published Sep. 10, 2001, 4:00 a.m. ET

WASHINGTON – Federal watchdogs today will testify that Andrew Cuomo’s β€œlax oversight” let crooks loot a housing program for the poor that will now cost taxpayers $130 million to bail out.

At issue is Cuomo’s role as Bill Clinton’s secretary of Housing and Urban Development and his pet home-ownership program for the poor, which collapsed in scandal.

Today’s bipartisan congressional hearing was called by Rep. Sue Kelly (R-Westchester), with Reps. Charles Rangel (D-Harlem) – who backs Cuomo’s gubernatorial rival Carl McCall – and Felix Grucci (R-L.I.) also expected.

β€œDecisions made during [Cuomo’s] tenure opened up this program to widespread fraud and abuse while the concerns of federal investigators were ignored,” Kelly said.

The program was supposed to help poor people fix up housing. But instead, it left tenants stuck in 719 homes – including almost 200 Harlem brownstones – that are mostly a mess, in foreclosure and, in some cases, without heat.

I saw a Cuomo ad last night that was basically "if there's another 9/11, we need a mayor with experience like Andrew Cuomo," and it made me wonder, wait, what was Andrew Cuomo doing on 9/11?

Well, he was probably preoccupied with damage control for this:

Happy Halloween. Trickle-down economics is nothing more than a cruel hoax designed to enrich corporations and the super-rich. For working people, it's been 40 years of all trick and no treat. Enough.

Dear Mr. Faulk, Mr. Ryan, and Mr. Waring,

My mother is buried in Rosehill Cemetery, a Dignity property in Chicago, which your company manages. My father also holds a reserved plot there. I was deeply disturbed to learn that today, armed and masked federal agents were using the cemetery grounds as a staging area for immigration enforcement operations in the surrounding community.

I want to be clear: I do not expect SCI or Dignity to take political positions. What I do expect is that you uphold the dignity, sanctity, and safety of the spaces entrusted to your care. Cemeteries are sacred groundβ€”places of mourning, reflection, and remembrance. Allowing armed, unidentified agents in unmarked vehicles to occupy that space desecrates it. It frightens visitors, community members, and employees alike, and it betrays the trust of the families who have chosen Rosehill as their loved ones’ final resting place.

As a private entity, SCI and Dignity have the legal right to prohibit ICE, CBP, and other federal enforcement personnel from using your property for such operations without a judicial warrant. I urge you to exercise that right and to adopt clear policies ensuring that no government agency may use any cemetery grounds under your management for enforcement or staging purposes. Doing so is not a political actβ€”it is a moral and professional obligation to the deceased, their families, and your own staff.

Many of those interred at Rosehill, and the families who visit them, are immigrants themselves. To allow their resting place to be used in acts that terrorize the living descendants of immigrant communities is a profound moral failure. I ask that you take immediate steps to ensure that this never happens again and communicate publicly your commitment to protecting the sanctity of these grounds.

I am requesting a written response outlining yo…

Trump hosted a dinner last week for White House ballroom donors.

Then he went to Mar-a-Lago for a $1 million-per-person dinner benefiting his super PAC.

Last night, he treated big GOP donors to dinner on his new White House patio.

The government has been shut down for 22 days.

One reason the term #StayWoke came out of the Black American community was to warn against falling for the "okie doke" . Instead of white people learning from US, they stole the word, bastardized it, used it against us, AND let people use "being woke" or whatever the fuck against THEM

EXCLUSIVE: One Saturday afternoon in October, my phone lit up with a notification.

I glanced down at the message.

β€œAnna, Lindsey Halligan here,” it began.

So began my text exchange with the woman who is prosecuting the president's perceived political enemies.

If you're a writer/other creator in the United States, consider creating an LLC for your business and then signing up for a local area Chamber of Commerce. Many of them have health insurance plans that pool their members and members of other CoCs to create insurance efficiencies relative to ACA.
