The story being sold to the world is as old as time, “evil regime” moral intervention, decades of conflict, no safe outcome and formation of a cycle of extremism that will fuel violence for decades and leave the region more unstable. The fresh cycle of refugees and profit for the war machine.

You always think that all the apologists, cheerleaders & sycophants - on both sides of the Atlantic - will surely cut the umbilical *this time*. But they never do. And the rest of us still aren’t equipped to deal with the full horror of what that means.
The world has regressed as a whole, state sanctioned violence has been chosen by a democratic stat to enforce personal not state or national policies, while simultaneously condemning it globally. The question is whether the mask has come off or is this actual moral deterioration.
