2 is my favorite due almost entirely to the cast of characters and plot. there are some (valid) complaints that the levels/missions are repetitive in the game, but I don't mind half the time because I always have a lot of fun with the story.

I'm operating at like 30% brain capacity these days and like a solid 10% of that is solely dedicated to thinking about Dragon Age 2
