In 2025, the Rubin Observatory will be ready! With a 3200 megapixel camera and six different optical filters. Each image covers an area equivalent to 40 full moons and the 8.4-meter telescope can move in less than five seconds. Rubin will take images of the entire visible sky every 3 or 4 nights.
