I have never conditioned mine & find that it makes no real difference. Over time on metal it flares out a bit but I have never had marking issues with unconditioned mallets.

Was visible- not wildly metaphysical 😂- I have had at least 4 logos but the logo I use now I painted myself. It’s an enso. A japanese never ending circle that I bisected & you can see the D/H in the logo on the right side.Herstory is about the feminine heroes journey to me & I have always loved that

That one started & ended right around the time I began full time work in development for a hospice. Then Hawk Hummingbird Moon came along as we moved to a place with a studio large enough I could teach. It was a literal outdoor meditation where a hawk flew over, a hummingbird flew over & the moon

I have had 3 iterations of this business in my life- one as a beader in CO, where I sold some work to friends & was able to donate money to causes- that business was called Herstory & it was short lived. The second one was called Mineral & Metal Alchemy & that one was beginning metal smith/beading
