It's possible to write the horseshoe prior as a ratio of two Bessel functions in a way that is amenable to sampling/EM, and that's when I checked out and cracked open BRMS. (I coded it by hand, and it worked, but it felt esoteric, occult even.)

It is made from marble and measures 22cm in length. Holes at the neck and tail suggest that it was meant to be suspended, and the two hollowed out cups on its back were probably used as containers of some kind
