This is a chart of where every pass this season went. At mid season it was just over 40% between 0 and 5 air yards. a quarter of them were behind the line. So about 65% of all passes were 5 yards or less at mid season. That is absolutely ridiculous for an NFL team. Only 29.2% were 10+ all season.
