Modern car headlights I find to be blinding, but the street lamps can be solved easily by turning down their brightness and a colored lens can be done if a person wants it took like the ones before.

Also, directional lighting at night is good as it helps bring back the night sky for people.

Has anyone else noticed we are living in an epidemic of harsh, unnatural lighting. The newer outdoor nighttime lighting is horribly bright and harsh. It is becoming a real blight on our landscape. Light affects our health and well being in ways that aren’t being considered.

No one is changing based on the brilliance of our arguments. Much less based on our judgment.
