Oh no, art is only for commerce or for attention, which at this point, is also commerce. There is no personal practice of art, no intention, no urge to express. They just want to participate in what they see as the production of content, so personally I don’t think they deserve any art at all.

I was gonna say, it's a long standing tradition that I can stand by.

When I was translating Kon Satoshi, in order to understand him better I spent time reading his personal blog. I'll never forget him writing "They say what Aronofsky is doing is an "homage." I know my English isn't great, but I don't understand the difference between "homage" and being "ripped off."
